TORONTO (CP) -- Uranium miner Southern Cross Resources Inc. has officially changed its name to SXR Uranium One Inc. and consolidated its shares.
The company said its shares on a five-for-one basis in connection with its September acquisition of South African firm Aflease Gold and Uranium Resources Ltd.
The shares are expected to begin trading on a consolidated basis on the Toronto Stock Exchange on or about Dec. 19.
The pre-consolidation shares [TSX:SXR] added two cents to C$1.32 in morning trading.
