January 10, 2008 - Vancouver, B.C.: Dale Schultz, Vice President Exploration of Continuum Resources Ltd (TSXV:CNU) reports that Mr. Juan L'opez has been appointed to the position of General Manager (Mexico) and Chief Geologist for the Company's Mexican subsidiary, Continuum Resources Mexico S.A. de C.V. ("Continuum Mexico"). Mr. Lopez has been with Continuum Mexico for two years and brings to his new position over 25 years of exploration experience in Mexico with companies such as Teck Cominco, Phelps Dodge, and Grupo Pe~noles. The management of Continuum will be looking to Mr. Lopez to provide leadership for its 2008 exploration efforts in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Mr. Lopez replaces Mr. Raul Diaz, who is leaving the Company to pursue other business opportunities. The Company's management would like to thank Mr. Diaz for the contribution he has made to Continuum's ongoing exploration efforts over the past years in Oaxaca state, and wish him the best of success in his future endeavors.
Continuum is actively exploring 12 separate gold-silver projects in the state of Oaxaca, where Continuum has acquired approximately 220,000 hectares. Continuum is also 24% joint venture partner with Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (TSXV: FVI) on the San Jose silver project, on which drilling continues to expand on the resource estimate previously announced by the Company on March 12, 2007.
