Emerging gold miner A1 Minerals (ASX: AAM) has started commissioning the gold plant near the company's Beta open cut mine at the BrightStar project in the Laverton region of Western Australia.
During the afternoon trade today, shares in A1 had increased 3.3% to 31c.
In the statement, the company said the mining team had stockpiled 15,000 tonnes of high grade ore on the run-of-mine pad and also had 20,000 tonnes of low grade material at the site.
