renames website “Hard Assets” -- traffic spikes among 18-25 males

Servers nearly crashed the 10-year old website today as hordes of new visitors hit the site for the first time. “Choosing a more contemporary and descriptive name for our site was not an easy decision for us,” commented Jeff Joseph, CEO of The Alpha Pages which owns the popular metals and energy industry website. “Hard Assets scored particularly well among 18-25 male traders in the focus groups that we conducted, but we had no idea that the name change would resonate so well to the broader market. It looks like our SEO issues have been solved!”

Joseph has acknowledged that not all of the new users seemed to be fulfilled by the renamed metals, energy and mining industry news and information site for serious investors. “There seems to be some confusion about the new website name and expectations regarding our content, but I am sure it will work out over time as readers come to understand that we are not some prurient porn emporium, rather, the premier destination for useful information on topics ranging from drilling to fracking.”
