 Colorado's proposed rules on uranium mining go public

Colorado mining officials have released draft regulations aimed at tightening oversight of uranium mining operations in the state.

The proposed rules — the result of bills passed by the state legislature in 2008 — are open to public comment and a public hearing is scheduled in April.
